11U Stealth On FIRE!!

WOW!! What a weekend.  Stealth finished the weekend 6-0 against their competitors.  The boys showcased just what they were made of.

The last two games brought out the best in everyone.  Bases were loaded and #27, Nate, was up to bat. He steps up to the plate, focuses in on the ball and BAMMMMM...GRANDSLAM!!!!!  This fabulous display secured our lead over the Wizards.   The hits just kept on coming, when #2, Colten, cleared the fences with his first homerun of the season.  As if that wasn't impressive enough, #27, Nate, gets his second at bat and slams it over the fences bringing in a runner on  2nd.  8 of the 11 runs scored in this game were from our Homerun hitters!

The boys entered into the finals confident and hungry for first place.  Double, after Double kept the runs coming in.  #5, Dawson, hit 2 doubles during his at bats and #2, Colten,  hit a double in the bottom of the 5th bringing in 2 runs!  #1, Troy, came to the plate with intensity, slamming the ball into left field...he was just shy of clearing the fences.  But who can forget our defense.  Every single player was an intrical part in this win. Our pitchers, #15, Trevor, #18, Mason, and closer Hayden, #23 gave it their all.  From our catchers, Nate, #27 and Jake, #21 who got down and dirty, to our infielders, # 25, Michael with his stops at second, #4, Christian with his rocketfire launches from short to first in the last inning, or those amazing outfielders who never let the Grizzlies get more than a single when it was hit to them!  Great job #11, Patrick, #1, Troy, #5, Dawson, and #2, Kolten.  The boys finished the final game with an 8-2 win over the Grizzlies.  

Incredible playing boys.  You remained positive and played with great sportsmanship out there.  Something every team should aspire to.  You are definitely a force to be reckoned with this season.
